Business Verification Policy
OUR VERIFICATION POLICY
Verification Policy
As part of our commitment to ensuring the security and integrity of our services, Rapid Kiwi requires verification for all new customers located outside of New Zealand. This policy helps us maintain a secure platform, comply with international regulations, and prevent malicious actors from exploiting our services. By requiring business verification, we aim to safeguard our network from abuse, protect our IP space from blacklisting, and mitigate risks related to fraud and violations of local laws.
Why Verification is Necessary
As a VPS provider, we must protect our infrastructure and network from potential misuse. This verification process ensures that all customers:
- Are legitimate individuals or businesses.
- Are compliant with local and international laws.
- Will not use our services for activities that could harm other users, degrade service quality, or compromise the network’s integrity.
By verifying our customers, we can better prevent the following issues:
- Malicious Activities: Preventing bad actors from using our services for activities such as hacking, spamming, or running illegal operations.
- IP Blacklisting: Avoiding situations where our IP addresses become blacklisted due to misuse, which can severely affect the quality of service for other legitimate customers.
- Fraudulent Behaviour: Ensuring our platform is not used for fraudulent schemes, including identity theft, fake businesses, and financial scams.
- Lawful Compliance: Ensuring customers follow their local laws and our acceptable use policies. This includes preventing the use of our services to avoid local regulations, bypass sanctions, or engage in illegal activities.
